Janet Sprouse Brings R&D Expertise to Kahiki


Kahiki is excited to announce that Janet Sprouse has joined the Kahiki Family as our new R&D Manager. Janet graduated from Michigan State with a MS and BS in Food Science and Human Nutrition and brings with her the tremendous amount of experience that she gained while working as the Executive Director of R&D with Donatos & Jane’s Dough Foods for 13 years. Janet also brings with her the knowledge she gained while working in management roles with Hardees’s Food Systems and Dominos Pizza. We're looking forward to working with Janet and her team as we continue to strengthen our R&D capabilities.

Welcoming Josh Brooks to the Kahiki Team


Please join me in welcoming Josh Brooks to the Kahiki family. Josh will be serving as our new Maintenance Supervisor and will report to Mike Riley. Josh and his family relocated to the Columbus area from Erie, Pennsylvania where Josh worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Welch’s. Josh also brings knowledge and skills he developed working in leadership roles with Case Farms and Perdue Farms. We look forward to Josh’s contributions to Kahiki and the Maintenance Team!

Celebrating Henry Liu’s 20th Anniversary

Last month, 2nd Shift Production Manager Henry Liu celebrated his 20th work anniversary at Kahiki Foods! Henry has been with the company since the old days of the Kahiki Supper Club and we’re happy to have such a dedicated and talented friend on our side. Congratulations Henry!

Mike Riley Joins Kahiki as Maintenance and Engineering Manager



The Kahiki family grew by one a few weeks ago as Mike Riley joined the team as our new Maintenance and Engineering Manager. Mike will oversee the maintenance operations in the facility and will report to Director of Operations Jim Triskett. Before joining Kahiki, Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the State of New York and worked at Abbott Nutrition as well as Rich Products as the Maintenance Manager. Mike also served our country for over 20 years in various management roles within the U.S. Navy. If you’re ever visiting the office, be sure to say “Hello!” to Mike!
